While our daily routines revolve around emails and virtual meetings, this event offers a valuable opportunity to have in-person conversations with publishers and industry professionals—brief moments that are essential for strengthening relationships and opening new doors.
The atmosphere at the fair is electric—hallways buzzing with ideas, stories searching for their place, and deals that will shape future books. As a literary agent, I am keenly aware of the effort, dedication, and passion behind every manuscript, as well as the importance of finding the right home for it in the publishing market.
Over the years, I have attended this fair many times. I’ll admit I’ve never been a fan of large crowds, but this event always reminds me why we do what we do.
