And, after celebrating the agency’s 25th anniversary, I can’t help looking back and feeling deeply grateful.
Over the years, we’ve sold many books, negotiated hundreds of contracts, and supported extraordinary authors. But if there’s one thing I still value above all else, it’s the people I’ve met along the way.
That’s why what I love most about the Frankfurt Book Fair isn’t the meetings or the deals, but reuniting with everyone.
Seeing publishers from all over the world again—people who, after so many years of sharing hopes, projects, successes, and challenges, have become more than just colleagues: they’ve become friends.
Books are what brings us together, but it’s human connection what makes this journey worthwhile, year after year.
Thank you to everyone who is a part of this adventure. We’re moving forward with the same excitement as day one.
