Francine Zapater (Terrassa, 1977) is a writer and dietitian. She has spent half her life balancing nutrition with her literary passion, dreaming of taking off her hospital uniform and dedicating herself fully to writing.

Author of many romantic novels and a very successful YA trilogy, she has never stopped learning and studying to confidently enter the genre she is most passionate about: historical fiction.

In 2025, with Constraluz, she published her first historical novel, Por bruja y hechicera, which was shortlisted for the Hislibris award for best debut author in the historical fiction genre.

Now she is taking back the reins of historical fiction with her new novel Por amor y venganza.
