The Afghan activist Nadia Ghulam has been awarded the Peace Prize of the government of Navarre, in recognition of her tireless work in defending human rights, especially those Afghan girls and women. The award ceremony will take place on September 16th in Tudela, as part of the International day of Peace.
From the Sandra Bruna Literary Agency, which has represented Nadia since the beginning of her literary career, we proudly celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Her first work, The Secret of my Turban (Original title: El secret del meu turbant), has been translated into more than ten languages, has sold more than 100.000 copies in Spain and was a finalist for the prestigious Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis 2022 in Germany.
