After the disappearance of an unknown painter who secretly happens to be the world’s most famous graffiti artist, a pair of police officers seek help from Claudia Fernández, a doctor in quantum physics who is currently going through a rough patch. Together, they try to get closer to Squark, as the criminal nicknames himself, while attempting to decipher his cryptic messages. It turns out that he is a serial killer obsessed with quantum physics. He kidnaps and holds certain people who he deems live in “superposition,” meaning they lead two lives at the same time. The investigators chase him, but more and more victims fall into his traps, which are inspired by major physics experiments.

In the first one, Squark reproduces Schrödinger’s cat paradox. The killer announces on social media that the prisoner is both alive and dead at the same time, at least, until the police manage to find the box where she is locked up… The countdown has only just begun, and Inspector Estrada, criminologist Nadia Mateo, and Dr. Claudia Fernández will have to try to stay ahead of the killer´s moves in a deadly game inspired by Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. What the three investigators do not know is that they are also part of his macabre plan. Will they manage to get ahead of him, or will they become just another sick experiment?
