Mònica García Massagué has a degree in Sciences of Communication, Advertising and Public Relations. Ha has made the Phd course of Multimedia Engineering. She has worked for many years in the Communication and Protocol department for several organizations of the Catalonia’s Government. She has also collaborated with different television channels and written press. She founded the digital e-zine De Estreno about the new film and television releases. She has been Communication Chief of the Sitges – International Festival of Cinema. She is currently the responsible of communication and international festivals of the Catalan Cultural Consortium Films & TV. She combines this work with teaching at the University of Barcelona and writing.
