Mireia Carrillo (Barcelona, 1993) studied Primary Education at Blanquerna (URL) and, a few years later, specialized in sex education. She earned a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where she began researching intimacy through her artistic practice from a feminist perspective.

Currently, she works part-time at the Cal Gerrer Museum (Sant Cugat) while also writing novels, creating performances, and reading a lot. Every two Saturdays, she sends out Carta de Bohemia—a free subscription on Substack. In 2024, she self-published her first novel, La voz de las musas, where she sought to build bridges between different forms of love.
