Eva Cornudella (Barcelona, 1967) is a writer who practises as a lawyer and mediator in Barcelona since1993. Although she’s specialized in family law, she has handled all kind of cases, from businesses matters to criminal cases. Her work forces her to mantain daily contact with the darker corners of the human mind and to listen secrets and confidences.
Her passion for human psychology has led to complete many psychoanalisis courses, which are reflected in her novels and a lot of published short stories, where the author inquires into personal relationships and emotions, as well as in the most unknown areas of the human mind: the subconscious and the dreams.
She has taught in the Creative Writing workshop at the city Council of Barberà del Vallés’ in 2019-2020.
She published her first novel Las mentiras precisas (Ed. Círculo Rojo) in the year 2016, and in 2018 Yo no decidí soñarte (Ed. Alentia). Besides, she collaborated as a lawyer and mediator in the book Tu corazón no está bien de la cabeza written by Lucía Etxebarría (2013 – Paidós).
She also wrote and published short stories for which she has obtained many awards and honours from institutions like de Barcelona School of Advocates.
