A doctor in biology, she has worked as a researcher in the field of genetics and has served as Head of Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology. Later, she focused her work on environmental health in indoor spaces, exploring how to live in healthier homes and buildings.

Currently, she is a leading expert in biohabitability, a discipline in which she teaches at various master’s and postgraduate programs in architecture and medicine, gives lectures, and publishes in the media. She is the editorial director of health and director of magazines such as Cuerpomente.

She is also the author of books on healthy living, including Casa saludable (Ed. Cúpula, 2009), Vivir sin tóxicos (Ed. Integral, 2014; updated edition, 2022), Tu casa sana (Ed. Integral, 2021), La oficina en casa (Ed. Integral, 2022), and Los primeros mil días (Ed. Integral, 2024).
