Débora Castillo was born in Barcelona, the same city where she still lives. She studied illustration at l’Escola Massana, but over time discovered that she preferred telling stories with words rather than images, so she trained in narrative technique at the Aula d’Escriptura. She has published the short story “…ni sin ti” (Mujeres que cuentan, 2016), the novel Di que sí Paca (Lapsus Calami, 2016), Breve historia de un amor de novela, a short story included in the book Me estás pisando el Chéjov (Editorial Espai Literari, 2016), El Método de la Transubstanciación Autoinducida del Profesor Gudu, a short story that was a finalist in “Cosecha Eñe 2016” and published in issue no. 47 of Revista Ñ Palabras que explotan, and the novel Poco bebo para lo mucho que tengo que tragar (Ediciones Martínez Roca, 2021).
