Graduate in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and specialist in Psychiatry from the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón. 

He obtained a Master’s Degree in Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapy from the Galene Institute of Psychotherapy, one of the reference centres for the humanistic psychology current in Spain. In his training he has deepened in different techniques within Emotional Work, Therapeutic Grief or Transactional Analysis, among others.

After suffering two burnout crises due to his work situation, she started to work with health professionals before and during the COVID pandemic to help them to get out of the health burnout. He created specific training on this problem with the Galene Institute (‘Psychological tools for healthcare professionals’, ‘Stress and emotion management for healthcare professionals’ among others).

In the last year and a half, he has been spreading the word on the subject of burnout to a general public, focusing not only on the strict occupational burnout (registered by the WHO as a disease) but also on the burnout of everyday life that appears due to activities that are work even if they are not paid (caring for the family, the elderly, and other similar activities…).
