Sandra Aza holds a degree in law and spent years working in the litigation department of an international law firm. She hung up her robe to chase her dream: to write a novel that would pay tribute to the history of Madrid and objectively describe the Spanish inquisitorial process. She delved into an intense period of documentation and historical research, which culminated in her debut novel, Libelo de Sangre.
Sandra is a member of the association Writers with History and was honoured with the Odilo Prize for Best Author, awarded by the XXII Historical Novel Week of Cartagena.
