Álex Rovira was born in Barcelona in 1969. He is a businessman, writer, economist, international speaker, and consultant. He has sold more than nine million copies of his various titles, with some being bestsellers in non-fiction literature in spanish and other languages. He holds a degree in Business Sciences and directs seminars for top management of companies and NGOs at various business schools and other prestigious academic institutions.

His most impactful work internationally has been Good Luck (Jossey-Bass, 2004), translated into 52 languages and achieving unprecedented success in Spanish non-fiction literature. Additionally, this work earned him the Best Book of the Year award in Japan in 2004. He has also coordinated a collection for Aguilar Publishing, which bears his name and includes essays, stories, and business books by him and other authors.

His first novel, La última respuesta (De bolsillo, 2009), a work of fiction co-authored with Francesc Miralles, won the Ciudad de Torrevieja Novel Award in 2009. Rovira explores different literary genres, including essays, stories, business fiction, and novels. He has also collaborated and continues to collaborate with various national and international media, such as El País Semanal, La Vanguardia, Catalunya Ràdio, and the Japanese psychology magazine Psiko.
