Born in Barcelona, I have been living in the USA for twenty-five years. I have a degree in Educational Sciences, a degree in Business Studies, a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology, and a PhD in Human Development from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA). I am a full professor at East Stroudsburg University and an expert in emotional intelligence, a field to which I have devoted more than twenty years of study, research, publications, teaching and consulting.
For many years, my activity has been developed in two distinct areas: one, the education of children, and the other, the leadership of adults. In relation to the first, I have given courses to hundreds of parents on how to educate their children in order to enjoy a harmonious family. I have published numerous research articles in scientific journals and have published the books Cómo desarrollar la inteligencia emocional de los niños: Estrategias para padres with Editorial Pirámide and Cómo enseñar matemáticas a los niños y niñas de preescolar: Un enfoque constructivista, with Editorial Horsori.
Regarding the second, I have worked as a senior manager and management advisor in different companies and schools, and I am the author of two books, Cómo dirigir con inteligencia emocional, and Los Malos jefes: Cómo progresar a pesar de ellos utilizando la inteligencia emocional also published by Editorial Pirámide. I have appeared in media such as TVE (La 2), COPE, RAC 1, Onda Cero, and others.
