Grela Bravo is a clinical psychologist and a social and intercultural mediator, with a multifaceted career in the fields of social work, health, communication, and culture. Her vocation focuses on building bridges and helping people step out of their comfort zones to improve their quality of life.

With over a decade of publications, her standout work Surviving Pain (Original title: Sobrevivir al dolor) (Plataforma Editorial) was awarded the ‘Best Ideas 2014’ prize by Diario Médico, alongside other titles such as Women Who Create (Original title: Mujeres que crean) (2016), On the Subject of… (A propósito de…)(2020), and Mathematics of Fragility (Original title: Matemática de la fragilidad)(2021).

She is co-founder of the Women and Pain Platform, a multidisciplinary association that raises awareness and promotes research on women’s pain in areas such as illness, violence, and gender. For nearly twenty years, she has been involved with Bcn Activa – Ajuntament de Barcelona, taking part in personal development and talent projects.

She has also collaborated with various media outlets as a science communicator and public educator. Currently, she combines her professional work with writing and studies in Humanities, Art, Literature, and Contemporary Culture, while preparing her doctoral research.

Among her most recent publications are On the Subject of… (2020), Mathematics of Fragility (2021), Ways of Saying It (2022), and All of Life is Today (2024), published by Grijalbo, Penguin Random House.
