Estefanía Estévez holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Barcelona, specializing in biophysics and neural networks. With a background in telecommunications engineering and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, she has worked on international projects such as the Human Brain Project and Horizon Europe.
She is currently a professor and researcher at Universidad Europea de Madrid, where she develops tools to improve the diagnosis of neurological diseases. She is also a science communicator through Contando Sinapsis and the author of the audiobook La neurobiología del sueño (2025).
