We are in Bologna surrounded by publishers, agents, illustrators, and literary professionals from all over the world. This fair, specialized in children’s and young adult literature, is much more than a publishing gathering: it is a brainstorm of ideas that will impact future readers and stories that dream of traveling far.
And that is, precisely, our goal.
We’ve come here so that the books of the authors we represent in our country can find their place in other ones. So that their voices can be heard in other languages, in other cultures, in other small (and not so small) hands that are looking forward to being moved by a good story.
After days of presentations, marathon meetings, endless hallways, and lots of excitement, we can say that we are exhausted but tremendously satisfied.
Because seeing how these books, which were born with so much care, begin to spark interest beyond our borders is the best reward.
We continue working, dreaming, and paving the way.
