As we close the chapters of this year, we reflect on the exciting literary journey we have experienced. From January to December, more than 40 books in our language have come to light, bringing stories filled with emotions, reflections, and creativity to readers around the world. Furthermore, the books we represent have crossed borders and reached several countries worldwide, contributing to the consolidation of Spanish literature on the international stage.
Looking back, we can’t help but feel proud of the work we’ve accomplished. It has been a year of learning and overcoming challenges—because it always is—but if there’s one thing that excites us more than looking back, it’s looking forward. Though every January feels like starting from scratch, embarking on a new adventure, after closing a year in which we reached the summit, we find ourselves once again at the foot of a towering mountain, ready to start climbing again. It’s daunting, despite our experience, and yet it fills us with passion. So, we are already prepared to face a new challenge—a new year.
And here’s a little spoiler for you: in January 2025 alone, a dozen books represented by us will hit the shelves, with many more to follow in February. Without a doubt, 2025 is shaping up to be a year full of new goals, memorable stories, and exciting projects.
To recharge our energy and enthusiastically prepare for what’s to come (and it’s no small feat), we will take a short break. From December 24 to January 6 (both days inclusive), the agency will be closed. We will return reenergized and eager to continue working for and with literature, for and with our authors and clients.
