Jesús Torres (Cádiz, 1983) is an actor, playwright, director, and theater researcher with a distinguished background in Audiovisual Communication, Performing Arts, Pedagogy, Cultural Management, Drama, and Gamification.
His work in young adult literature is well recognized, particularly through his company, El Aedo, with which he has presented over forty performances.
Torres has published adaptations of classics for young readers and theater texts for ELE students with Anaya. His play “Puños de harina” earned him awards such as the Autor TeatroExprés from the SGAE Foundation and a nomination for the 2021 Max Awards.
In 2024, his young adult novel “La metamorfosis de Gregor” received the Hispano-American Prize for Young People’s Drama.
