Esther Secanilla Campo (Barcelona, 1967) holds a PhD in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), is an accredited researcher by AQU (international university quality agency), psychologist, has a degree in psychopedagogy, and is also a teacher. She is a university professor, teaching at various universities in Spain and Latin America, as well as a conference speaker and guest at specialized congresses and courses. She serves on the scientific committee of INFAD and on editorial boards of specialized psychology journals. A researcher in clinical and psychosocial educational fields, she is a recognized expert in giftedness and child and adolescent psychology. In her private practice, she provides guidance on intellectual giftedness, family and couple relationships, and works with children, families, and adults. She is an accredited mentor by the EMCC, trained in systemic, couples, and brief therapy, and is an EMDR specialist. As an international consultant, she supports individuals through all life stages as well as organizations.

She supervises professional teams and has worked on Social Risk Childhood and Adolescence Care Teams in Catalonia, in shelters, and in senior centers, publishing various articles on caregiving. She has led several GAMs (mutual support groups) for family members.
