Nina Sweet is the pen name used by author Paz Castelló for her romantic suspense novels. In 2024, she made a great impact with the publication of Lo prohibido (Titania), becoming one of the genre’s breakout voices after building a successful and acclaimed career as a thriller writer with titles such as Mi nombre escrito en la puerta de un váter (Umbriel), La llave 104 (Umbriel), Dieciocho meses y un día(Umbriel), and Ninguna de nosotras tendrá compasión (Ediciones B), among others.

Paz Castelló has a law degree from the University of Alicante. Throughout her extensive professional career, she has combined journalism—she has worked for various media outlets and institutions—and law, alongside a prolific literary career.

She lives with her partner on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, at their country house in a small town in Alicante, surrounded by nature and her cats. She enjoys writing by a fireplace, with jazz music in the background and a glass of wine.
