Paz Velasco is a jurist, criminologist, writer, and communicator specializing in violent crimes and psychopathic personality.

She has collaborated with various media outlets such as Cadena SER, Horizonte, Cuarto Milenio, and RNE, where she has provided her expertise in criminological analysis.

In addition to her media contributions, Velasco has given lectures as a professor at several universities, including the International University of Valencia and the Catholic University of Murcia.

Furthermore, as the president of the Advisory Committee of Experts of the Professional College of Criminology of the Community of Madrid (CPCM) and the academic director of the International Society of Applied Criminology (SICA), she has delivered over 100 lectures at universities, institutions, and associations in Spain and Latin America.
