The first launch of the EMPYREAN saga, FOURTH WING, has soared to the top of the bestseller lists, closely followed by the second volume, IRON FLAMES, which hit shelves in February 2024.
The novel chronicles the life of Violet Sorrengail, who believed she would join the Scribe Quadrant (to which her late father belonged) for a quiet life, but unexpectedly and at her mother’s behest, she must fight to become part of Navarre’s elite in the Dragon Rider Quadrant, with the problem being that there are more riders than dragons available.
Violet becomes an easy target: many believe she is weak and won’t pass the tests. Moreover, many would kill her only to have a better chance of getting a dragon, while others like Xaden Riorson would kill her simply for being the daughter of the general commander.
Everyone who has read the novel is effusive in their praise, but the word that resonates the most is ‘addictive.’
The author has announced that the third volume will arrive in early 2025.
