Jordi Campoy Boada
Jordi Campoy Boada is a music producer, pianist, composer, and writer based in Sabadell.
The son of a bricklayer and a homemaker, Jordi was introduced to music by his father, an amateur trumpet player and passionate jazz enthusiast, who took him to the Sabadell Municipal Conservatory of Music at the age of nine. There, he began studying music theory and piano.
He later completed his intermediate studies in classical piano at the Liceu Conservatory while simultaneously training in jazz, modern harmony, and ensemble performance at the Blue Train school in Sabadell, under the guidance of teachers Valentí Adell and Paco Wett.
In 1999, he began working at Ten Productions as a music producer. Since then, he has taken part in the production of hundreds of albums, composed numerous songs for national artists, and adapted lyrics into Catalan for TV3’s La Marató album.
He currently combines his work as a producer with teaching harmony and writing novels.
Compulsive reading, mountain biking, and travelling to the ends of the earth complete the passions of Jordi’s restless and curious spirit.
