Ester Berdor studied Journalism and for several years worked in the profession, in a journey that took her through cities such as Pamplona, San Sebastián, Brussels, and Zaragoza. After nearly a decade working for different media outlets, she decided to leave the world of communication and move to the mountains. In the Pyrenees of Huesca, she wrote her first work, a nouvelle that was published by the Aragonese publishing house Anorak. She also began coordinating reading clubs in rural libraries and leading literary workshops in schools and high schools.

Five years later, she returned to the plains and currently lives in a village in the Ribera Alta area of Zaragoza with her family and her two elderly dogs. For a time, life kept her away from literature more than she would have liked; however, a couple of years ago she resumed her literary activity and once again began teaching workshops and coordinating book-related gatherings. In addition, she decided to give herself the opportunity to write a novel. She wanted to do so with commitment and professionalism, and for that she sought the necessary guidance and training. She succeeded, and in the coming months her novel will be published under the Siruela imprint. Throughout this journey back to writing, the author has reaffirmed her conviction that writing requires discipline, patience, and, above all, a deep gratitude toward literature.
